Job summary

QXO seeks a results-driven leader to oversee a profit center, directing operations and administration while building a high-performing sales team. You’ll recruit, train, and lead cross-functionally with other departments, using trend analyses to identify profitable opportunities and drive growth.

Work closely with the Branch Credit Manager to solidify the account base, maintain vendor relationships, foster leadership, and champion safety across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or 1–2 years of related experience
• Experience in leadership roles within the industry
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Strong leadership, managerial, and supervisory skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and team
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of a profit center, including operations and administration
• Recruit, train, and lead the sales team, and work cross functionally with other departments
• Make strategic decisions based on trend analysis to identify profitable business opportunities
• Collaborate closely with the Branch Credit Manager to establish an appropriate account base and ensure financial stability
• Maintain strong vendor relationships, leveraging manufacturer information to market products and services
• Foster a positive work environment and develop future leaders
• Champion a safety-oriented culture within the organization, ensuring that all employees comprehend and strictly follow safety protocol and procedures
