Job summary

BrightBridge Credit Union in Bridgewater, MA is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support daily branch operations, serve members, and act in the Branch Manager’s absence. The role emphasizes coaching staff, driving sales and service standards, and maintaining strong internal communication.

You’ll also participate in hiring, training, and performance feedback, helping grow member relationships and guiding staff across the branch network with occasional travel to other locations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3–4 years branch sales, service, and operations experience in a financial institution.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Provides Medallion and/or notary service within 90 days of hire.
• Flexible work hours and reliability required.
• Eligible to register with NMLS and maintain as a registered Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager with sales, service, and operational control.
• Guide and advise staff and members on complex issues and ensure cross-department communication.
• Engage in hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, and developing staff within policy and budget.
• Champion sales activities and deepen member relationships while attracting new business.
• Maintain knowledge of all products and services offered by the Credit Union.
