Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to safeguard the success of our branch operations, drive safety, manage costs, and lead the workforce. The role ensures effective inventory control and responsive customer service aligned with WS policies and regulations.

You will oversee branch staff, contractors, and logistics, while proactively developing talent, managing vendor relations, and achieving operational excellence across production, fleet, and service areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or 3 years of applicable experience.
• 5 years experience managing one or more direct reports in a service shop/manufacturing/building construction environment.
• Experience managing a unit or departmental budget or 2 years with WillScot.
• Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience applying creativity to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect managerial oversight to branch operational employees (Production Supervisors, Shop/Yard Labor, Field Service, Dispatchers, Drivers).
• Manages daily tasks for temporary workers and contractors.
• Ensures timely, clear communication to branch staff and uses internal systems to deliver safe, cost-effective operations.
• Oversees inventory, maintenance, and fleet servicing to control costs.
• Plans budgets and actively manages branch operating costs and resources.
