Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Branch Operations Manager in the United States. This role leads branch operations, production, and customer service, ensuring safety, cost control, and high customer satisfaction. It requires managing staff, budgets, and vendor relationships while optimizing logistics and fleet operations.

The position emphasizes leadership, strict adherence to policies, and driving operational excellence at multiple sites, with a focus on timely, quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or 3 years of applicable experience.
• 5 years experience managing one or more direct reports in a Service Shop/Manufacturing/Building Construction environment OR 2 years of experience with WillScot.
• Experience managing a unit or departmental budget OR 2 years of experience with WillScot.
• Ability follow direction and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience applying creativity to problem-solving
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with vendors through open, proactive communication
• Ability to effectively manage multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Salesforce.com, SAP, Tableau, Hyperion, Teams/Zoom or Smartsheets.
• Experience in fleet management, logistics, inventory, dispatching, building codes/permitting

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect managerial oversight to branch operational employees.
• Manage tasks and daily duties for temporary workers and contractors.
• Communicates clearly to all branch employees.
• Utilizes internal systems to ensure safe, timely, cost-effective delivery of revenue activities.
• Manages costs through oversight of maintenance, inventory and servicing of the fleet.
• Plans budgets and actively manages costs for the branch.
• Ensures accurate work orders, off rent/damage billing, inventory and purchasing compliance.
• Ensures available parts, VAPS and resources for efficient operations.
• Collaborates with HR to develop the branch workforce and recruit top talent.
• Manages logistics including safety, resources, DOT, and route efficiency.
