Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to align sales and operations, drive warehouse efficiency, and oversee branch inventory with regional teams. You will coordinate transfers, monitor backlog, and support layout, procedures, and maintenance to ensure timely customer orders.

This role requires strong ERP and BI skills, five years in electrical distribution, and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' clerical or administrative experience in the electrical distribution industry.
• Experience working with commercial contractors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the direct liaison between sales and operations teams.
• Drive project execution to improve warehouse efficiency.
• Manage facility maintenance needs for the Warehouse.
• Manage branch inventory needs in collaboration with RVP, Branch Manager, Sales team and Regional Purchasing teams.
• Manage logistical needs and transfers between Warehouse and supported branches.
• Monitor daily backlog to ensure customer orders are released timely.
