Insurance Office of America seeks a Branch Operations Manager for our Charleston, SC area. You will lead operations, manage budgets, and oversee a team, while ensuring service excellence and adherence to IOA policies.

The role requires a current P&C license, 5+ years in commercial insurance, and 2+ years in management, with strong leadership and negotiation skills. The position is hybrid with some in-office presence.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license is required.
• 2+ years of management/supervisor experience.
• 5+ years of commercial insurance industry experience.
• CISR or CIC designation is preferred.
• Outstanding communication, people management, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily branch operations and team workflow.
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans for the branch.
• Manage branch P&L, budgeting, costs, and financial goals.
• Recruit, onboard, and assess staff; support merger/acquisition opportunities.
• Ensure HR processes and policies are followed; develop personnel.
• Monitor performance, quality, service standards, and productivity.
• Communicate leadership vision and promote IOA values.
• Collaborate with sales and resolve operational issues with Branch 1099 staff.
• Develop core work processes and enforce policies.
