Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Branch Operations Manager for our Charleston, SC location. The role leads all branch operations, oversees the operations team, and contributes to strategic plans and growth.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial insurance and at least 2 years of management, with active P&C licensing preferred. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for driving performance and client service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial insurance industry experience with deep knowledge.
• 2+ years of management/supervisor experience.
• Active P&C license; CISR or CIC designation preferred.
• Outstanding communication, people management, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities and workflow of the branch team.
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans.
• Manage branch P&L, control costs, and achieve financial goals.
• Understand and manage the annual budget.
• Communicate leadership vision/mission for the branch.
• Build and manage a qualified operations team.
• Recruitment and onboarding; participate in mergers/acquisitions.
