Job summary

TS Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager for Council Bluffs. This role supports direct branch operations to ensure regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness, while ensuring clients receive prompt and courteous service.

The position oversees branch performance and sales initiatives within the local market. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 3–4 years of banking experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Three to four years of banking experience and/or training in the financial industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential responsibilities of Universal Banker roles proficiently.
• Participate in branch audits and certifications for compliance.
• Cover branch management in their absence and implement processes or projects as directed.
• Support leadership in planning community, client and business partner events.
• Review compliance reports and inform Branch Manager of issues.
• Provide technical training to bankers per development plans.
• Promote exceptional client service and guide product sales.
• Identify sales opportunities and deepen client relationships; request referrals.
• Develop plans to call on maturing accounts, leads and referrals; track results in CRM.
• Review overdraft reports; authorize transactions per policy.
• Maintain knowledge of TS Banking Group products and services.
• Assist audits as assigned by Internal Auditor.
• Address client concerns and inquiries.
• Represent the bank in community and professional groups.
