Job summary

TS Bank in Council Bluffs seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to support daily branch operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance client service. You will assist in managing staff, driving sales opportunities, and coordinating community events.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3–4 years of banking experience, with strong knowledge of banking products and services. This is a hands-on leadership position in our Council Bluffs offices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.
• Three to four years of banking experience and/or training in the financial industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform all essential responsibilities of Universal Banker levels.
• Participate in branch audits and certifications to ensure compliance.
• Act as Branch Manager in their absence and implement directed processes.
• Support leadership in community, client, and business partner events.
• Review compliance reports and report issues to Branch Manager.
• Assist in training bankers as directed.
• Promote exceptional client service following Client Impact Standards.
• Identify sales opportunities and deepen client relationships.
• Develop plans for calling on accounts, leads, referrals, and new prospects.
• Review overdraft activity and authorize transactions per policy.
• Maintain knowledge of TS Bank products and services.
• Participate in internal audits and address client concerns.
• Represent the bank in community and professional associations.
