Job summary

Worldpac is seeking an Assistant Branch Operations Manager in California to learn all facets of branch operations and assist the Branch Operations Manager in guiding the team at the San Mateo location. The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and training within a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily activities in the manager's absence, supporting staffing and budgeting efforts, and maintaining a strong customer-service focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years leadership in a warehouse setting.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills; able to read/write English fluently.
• Ability to obtain required driver’s license and drive company vehicles.
• Willingness to learn all branch functions and assist with budgeting.

Responsibilities

• In the absence of the Branch Operations Manager, lead daily branch activities.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and model compliant behavior.
• Support training and development of team members.
• Maintain customer-service oriented conduct.
• Assist in learning branch management functions including staffing, budgeting, and performance reviews.
• Deliver or pick up orders using company vehicles safely.
• Other duties as assigned.
