Job summary

United Rentals in Oshkosh, WI is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily branch operations, drive safety, and maximize productivity while delivering world-class service. You will coach staff, monitor branch metrics, coordinate rental quotations, reservations, and contracts, and partner with the Branch Manager to meet financial objectives and uphold company policies.

Proven leadership, 2+ years supervisory experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales and operational experience.
• 2+ years supervision and leadership experience.
• Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry.
• Strong motivational and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies.
• Drive branch metrics by monitoring scorecard items and coaching staff.
• Support all aspects of sales and customer service, including quotes, reservations and contracts.
• Maximize operational effectiveness and drive profitability by cost control and training.
• May be responsible for day-to-day operational activities including opening/closing and cash handling.
• Motivate, coach and train personnel.
• Promote safety and discipline through leadership and communication.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
