Job summary

Grainger in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Branch Team Lead to oversee daily operations, deliver strong customer service, and drive branch performance. You will report to the Operations or Branch Manager and work with cross-functional teams to meet service and sales goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years in customer service and sales, 2+ years of management, and proficiency with SAP. You will relocate if needed and play a key part in coaching staff, scheduling, and process

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and direction for daily branch team activities.
• Clarify priorities and give ongoing feedback aligned with strategy.
• Improve key metrics: customer satisfaction, sales, safety, and operations.
• Deliver a creative customer experience to boost retention.
• Provide regular feedback to strengthen branch operation skills.
• Oversee counter transactions and guide staff.
• Coordinate onboarding and ongoing training.
• Create staffing schedules to maintain productivity.
• Identify processes for improvement using Continuous Improvement.
• Collaborate with Sales, Branch Network and Service teams.
• May handle after-hours emergency calls.
