Job summary

Chase is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager-Operations in Houston to lead branch activities and coach Associate Bankers toward delivering exceptional client experiences. You will collaborate with the Branch Manager to ensure compliant, efficient operations and a welcoming branch environment.

You will manage staffing, uphold audit and loss-prevention standards, and guide the team in adhering to policies while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience or retail banking experience.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Manage and inspire Associate Bankers to deliver seamless service with care and sincerity; coach them on policies, procedures, products, systems, and transactions.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to create a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere; manage day-to-day branch operations; ensure exceptional client experiences.
• Greet clients warmly; demonstrate genuine care and build trusted relationships.
• Strategically plan and manage staffing to adapt to client needs; keep team aligned with branch priorities.
• Oversee all branch operations including loss control, compliance, and audits to run smoothly and securely.
• Engage clients with clear, polite communication; resolve issues quickly while following bank policies.
• Simplify banking by guiding clients to self-service options and access to accounts 24/7.
