Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union in Mayfield Heights, Ohio is seeking a Branch Manager or lead supervisor who oversees branch operations, staff performance, and delivery of the full range of Navy Federal products.

You will supervise daily activities, manage staffing, training, budgeting, and ensure compliance with security, HR policies and regulatory requirements while supporting member service excellence.

Qualifications

• Scorecard criteria requirements as defined by Branch Operations Governance or external experience.
• Knowledge of federal regulations governing consumer lending, credit cards, mortgages and deposit accounts.
• Knowledge of multiple financial products including mortgage loans, credit cards, and savings/checking accounts; cash and ATM operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently or in a team environment.
• Experience in member/customer service operations.
• Experience mentoring and leading employees.
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
• Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment.
• Interpersonal skills with staff, management, vendors and members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead branch team to provide Navy Federal products and services.
• Assist Manager in monitoring cash operations and branch self-auditing.
• Manage vault opening, closing and balancing procedures.
• Participate in outside marketing and local events for members/new members.
• Recruit, onboard and train branch staff.
• Participate in budgeting, purchasing and records retention for expenses.
• Guide team development in technical, soft and leadership skills.
• Provide support to achieve product, service and business goals, including cross-servicing Navy Federal products.
• Lead and train team members to deliver high quality service to members.
• Analyze reports and conduct trend analysis to optimize performance.
• Ensure compliance with security, safety and HR policies.
• Follow all policies and procedures; supervise daily activities and staffing.
• Act as Manager in the incumbent's absence.
