Job summary

Republic Finance in Bartlett, TN is seeking current college juniors or seniors for a Branch Operations Internship. You will learn the daily branch functions, interact with team members, and gain exposure to loan closings, regulatory training, and continuous improvement projects.

This 100% onsite program offers hands-on experience and a clear path to future opportunities. The program pays $15.00 per hour and aims to convert interns to full-time post graduation.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Ideal candidates will be eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 18–20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet acceptable standards for background and credit checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Eligibility for insurance licensing (criminal background check per state).

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and complete accelerated Assistant Branch Manager training to learn loan process and regulatory training.
• Assist in daily loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings including file allocation for doc prep and auditing.
• Spend time with Manager and Regional VP to understand promotion path and career potential.
• Attend regional meetings or workshops to gain exposure to the Branch Operations division.
• Learn about branch operations process-improvement projects.
• Learn about corporate roles where branch background is valued (Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting).
