Job summary

Republic Finance is seeking Branch Operations Interns who are current Juniors or Seniors in college with a Finance or Business focus. The internship is 100% onsite and pays $15.00 per hour, with the potential for full-time employment after graduation.

You will learn day-to-day branch operations, including loan processing, compliance training, and regional initiatives, while exploring career paths across our organization.

Qualifications

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Ideal candidates will be eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to work 18–20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing (background check).

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and go through an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn loan processes and regulatory training.
• Assist in daily production of loan origination, processing, closings and fundings including file allocation and auditing.
• Spend time with Manager/Regional VP to understand promotional paths and career potential.
• Attend regional meetings/workshops to gain exposure to the Branch Operations division.
• Learn about process improvement projects within Branch Operations.
• Learn about corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are valued (Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting).
