Needham Bank is seeking a Float Assistant Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations, sales, risk management, and staff development in Needham, MA. The role focuses on acquiring new business and nurturing existing customer relationships while ensuring strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate will supervise branch staff, coach for performance, and maintain a professional, service-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree highly desired or equivalent experience/combined education required.
• Banking industry experience highly preferred.
• Three to five years of previous experience as a customer service representative in order to assist branch retail staff.
• Extensive background in bank operating policies and procedures, banking regulations (state and federal), employee development and public relations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coach branch staff to deliver best-in-class customer experience.
• Ensure inquiries are owned and responded to within 24 hours.
• Lead day-to-day sales efforts and coach staff for measurable results.
• Ensure branch operations comply with policy, security, and AML requirements.
• Prepare evaluations and coordinate staff training and development.
