Job summary

CAT Global is seeking a Branch Operations Manager for the Columbus, OH location. This role oversees day-to-day branch operations, leads branch supervisors, manages budgets, and ensures compliance with corporate procedures.

Ideal candidate has a business-related degree and 5+ years in 3PL transportation or inside brokerage sales, with a proven ability to generate revenue from major customers and to work under deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business, logistics or transportation related field including five (5) years of experience with 3PL transportation or inside brokerage sales.
• Proven ability to generate revenue from major customers.
• Experience working in a deadline-driven environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day operations of the branch.
• Manage and coordinate all function relating to the business and key operations metrics.
• Lead the Branch Supervisors to the accomplishment of their goals.
• Recruiting and training of employees.
• Direct oversight over financials of the branch.
• Work with ownership in creating budgets.
• Identify and resolve workplace inefficiencies.
• Reporting (Financial and operational).
• Vendor Management for the branch.
• Contract review with head office.
• Ensure compliance of corporate procedures.
