Job summary

Westerra Credit Union in Denver, CO is seeking a Branch Audit & Operations Specialist to monitor branch performance and ensure safety, security, and procedural compliance.

You will partner with leadership to identify efficiency opportunities, provide on-site support, training, and coaching, and help branches deliver exceptional member experiences.

This hybrid role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Internal applicants: 1+ year demonstrated performance in a Westerra branch/operations role.
• Basic understanding of Westerra core operating and ancillary systems.
• External applicants: 2+ years in branch banking or 2+ years in physical security program oversight.

Responsibilities

• Monitor branch performance for operational consistency and compliance.
• Reinforce safety, security, and loss-prevention procedures.
• Identify and escalate operational, safety, security, and compliance risks.
• Provide on-site branch support, training, and coaching as needed.
• Conduct branch operational audits including cash positions, vaults, and logs.
• Assist with resolving branch errors and logging discrepancies.
• Review operational reports to drive efficiency and excellence.
• Support reception desk operations at Cherry Creek HQ.
