Westerra Credit Union in Denver, Colorado seeks a Card Operations Manager to lead debit and credit card programs, overseeing Card Services, Disputes, processing, and vendor management, driving excellence across the card member lifecycle.

The role partners with Lending, Risk, Marketing, Digital Banking, and other functions to ensure compliant, high‑quality service, manage teams of Card Specialists and the Card Services Manager, and implement improvements in a fast‑paced financial services

Qualifications

• 6+ years in card operations or payments

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Card Operations across servicing, disputes, portfolio administration and processing
• Lead and develop Card Services Manager and Card Specialists
• Establish operating model and priorities across Card Operations
• Oversee card servicing operations (lost/stolen cards, fraud alerts, digital wallet)
• Own governance of key card partners (Velera, Visa, rewards providers) and fulfillment vendors
• Oversee settlement coordination and operational issue resolution
• Administer card rewards programs and vendor coordination
• Resolve escalated operational issues impacting card processing and service quality
• Drive growth initiatives and profitability through card program performance
• Partner with Lending, Marketing, Digital Banking, Finance and Risk on card strategies and performance
• Establish controls, reporting and performance metrics to ensure consistent execution
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce friction
