Job summary

SECU in North Carolina seeks a courteous member service associate to assist customers across channels, handle cash transactions, open and maintain accounts, and respond to inquiries.

You will balance cash, manage vault and coin sorter, operate the drive-thru when needed, and support daily branch operations. The role requires strong communication, reliability, and a commitment to ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Attendance to assigned schedule.

Responsibilities

• Open new memberships and accounts; process changes in accounts.
• Educate members on services and make recommendations based on needs.
• Enter transactions in the Margo system and balance cash drawer accurately.
• Balance the vault, ATM, TCD and coin sorter.
• Operate drive-thru window as needed.
• Keep daily/monthly reports: vault control, returned checks, Visa gift cards, and coin sorter.
• Assist members with account problems and reconciliations or errors in transactions.
• Provide clerical support and other duties as assigned.
