Job summary

Texas Tech Credit Union in Amarillo is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional member service while maintaining regulatory compliance.

You will lead the Personal Banker team, set performance goals, monitor deposit growth and fee income, and drive efficiency and risk mitigation. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of credit union operations, regulations, and compliance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand or sit for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve members and employees pleasantly and professionally.
• Supervise, train, and motivate branch's Personal Banker team and serve as their resource.
• Set performance goals and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to ensure goals are met.
• Ensure exceptional member service by resolving escalated inquiries promptly.
• Foster member relationships by identifying financial needs and offering relevant products.
• Oversee daily branch operations including cash management and account maintenance.
• Monitor branch financial performance and work toward deposit growth and fee income goals.
• Implement cost-control measures to maintain profitability and ensure compliance.
• Assist in marketing strategies to promote branch products and services.
• Prepare reports on branch performance and member feedback.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
