Job summary

White Cap is hiring a Branch Manager to own P&L, drive local market growth, and oversee operations at the Houston location. You will safeguard assets, manage inventory and receivables, and ensure staffing and training to meet service goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a related field.
• Operation of a company vehicle or personal vehicle for work more than 20% of the work week.
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must be acceptable.
• MVR check will be run if selected.
• Preferred: experience with Oracle and sales order software.
• Wholesale distribution experience.
• Spanish language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee profit and loss and inventory/accounts receivable for assigned locations.
• Aim for EBIT, ROIC, and ROS targets; safeguard assets.
• Provide operational oversight and strong inventory management.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet service and financial needs.
• Develop sales and operations capabilities through training.
• Build and nurture customer relationships with existing and new clients.
• Coordinate with leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and issue resolution.
• Monitor local market trends and grow local market share.
• Collaborate with vendors to maximize sales and profitability.
• Ensure policy compliance and process excellence; health and safety adherence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
