Mariner Finance is hiring for a Lending/Branch supervisor role in Tupelo, MS. The position requires reviewing loan applications, expanding business through local networking, and coaching staff to meet sales and service goals.

The role emphasizes customer service excellence, regulatory compliance, and leadership in a growing community finance company with a strong emphasis on service quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience in Consumer Lending/Financial Services.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience, or completion of a lending training program such as Mariner’s BMT.
• Bachelor’s degree as listed or military rank; substitutions allowed for experience.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and financial services programs.
• Ability to complete duties accurately and timely.
• Must obtain licenses to sell insurance products offered by the branch.
• Must work at the assigned branch location.

Responsabilités

• Exercise lending authority when reviewing and approving applications and offer loan solutions meeting customer needs.
• Manage retention and maintenance of existing accounts to achieve branch sales and delinquency targets.
• Coach branch staff with actionable feedback to achieve goals and reduce turnover.
• Prepare and submit reports reflecting branch activity and growth.
• Develop business by networking with local establishments and building community relations.
• Implement internal branch auditing procedures to control negotiable items and records.
• Approve exceptions to policy as authorized by management and resolve product/service issues.
• Monitor monthly expenses against the annual business plan.
• Investigate and resolve customer and employee inquiries and complaints.
• Participate in interviews to attract high-quality talent and recommend vacancies.
• Attend meetings and development activities to stay current with trends.
• Perform additional functions as needed, such as payments collection and loan processing.
