Job summary

Mariner Finance in Columbus, GA is seeking a branch associate to provide quality service to existing and prospective loan customers, and help meet branch sales goals.

The role includes reviewing loan applications, applying product knowledge to tailor solutions, and participating in the Branch Manager Training Program; relocation to surrounding branches may be required; a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years of related experience; military rank may substitute.
• Willing to relocate and travel to surrounding branches as needed.
• Effective communication (written & oral) and PC skills.
• Ability to complete essential duties in a timely, accurate manner.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and interpersonal skills in demanding situations.
• Must obtain applicable licenses to sell insurance products offered to customers by the branch.
• Work at assigned branch location unless emergency conditions require otherwise.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality service to existing and prospective customers seeking loans.
• Achieve consistent results and meet branch goals related to the sale of company products and services.
• Exercise lending authority when reviewing and approving applications and tailor loan solutions.
• Learn lending and collection duties through the Branch Manager Training Program.
• Assist management in daily task assignment to ensure branch is structured to provide quality customer service.
• Manage exceptions to policy and resolve product/service obstacles for customers.
• Retain accounts by proactive inside sales to promote other products and services.
• Assist Branch Manager in handling multiple priorities and completing reports.
