Job summary

White Cap is hiring a Branch Manager in Austin, TX. The role leads branch operations, manages P&L, inventory and AR, and ensures excellent service to contractors and customers.

The Branch Manager will drive growth, oversee staffing, and partner with vendors to maximize profitability while maintaining compliance and safety standards. This is an on-site leadership position with opportunities across White Cap’s North American network.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with inventory and accounts receivable control.
• Ability to develop staff and use training programs to grow sales/ops.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for profit and loss and inventory/accounts receivable for the location.
• Safeguards company assets and provides operational oversight.
• Ensures appropriate staffing levels and utilizes training programs to develop sales and operations expertise.
• Initiates and builds customer relationships with existing and new customers.
• Acts as liaison to functional leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
• Monitors local market trends and develops strategies to grow market share.
• Works closely with vendors to maximize sales and increase profitability.
• Ensures efficient operations through adherence to policies and safety/regulatory responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
