White Cap is hiring an Assistant Branch Manager in Texas. The role involves leading branch operations, coordinating procurement and inventory, and driving sales profitability. You will support a frontline team, ensure accurate order processing, and resolve customer issues in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires experience in branch operations, knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle preferred), and the ability to work on-site. White Cap offers comprehensive benefits and a strong growth path.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in branch operations or a similar role.
• Experience in construction supply or industrial distribution preferred.
• Experience leading front-line teams (warehouse, counter, or inside sales).
• Proficiency with ERP or order management systems (Oracle preferred).
• Understanding of sales drivers, margins, and branch-level performance metrics.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) and forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch sales and operations associates.
• Manages the branch in the Branch Manager's absence and assists in developing strategies to drive branch sales and profitability.
• Assists with procurement coordination, inventory control, shipping/receiving, warehousing, and sales per policies.
• Investigates and resolves branch-level customer issues, inventory discrepancies, and delays; adjusts resources as needed.
• Manages operational branch problems and analyzes budgets and variances for staff scheduling.
• Serves customers and supports counter/inside sales; ensures accurate and timely billing of sales orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
