Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a Branch Manager in California. You will be accountable for P&L, inventory, and AR, while driving sales and service excellence at your location. Lead staffing, develop teams, and build strong customer and vendor relationships to grow market share.

The role requires 7+ years in a related field, vehicle operation for significant weekly travel, and a safety/compliance mindset. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in P&L management and profit optimization.
• Strong inventory controls and receivables management.
• Ability to recruit, train, and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for profit and loss and inventory/accounts receivable for assigned location(s).
• Safeguards company assets and associates; provides operational oversight.
• Ensures staffing levels meet service and financial demands; uses training to develop sales/ops staff.
• Initiates and builds relationships with existing and new customers.
• Liaises with leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
• Monitors local market trends and develops growth strategies.
• Works with vendors to maximize sales and profitability.
• Ensures compliant operations and safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Requires 7+ years of related experience.
• Vehicle operation for >20% of work week; MVR check required.
