Job summary

The Eagle Valley Library District in Eagle County, Colorado, seeks an experienced Eagle Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and promote library services. Reporting to the Library Director, you will manage budgets, partner with local organizations, mentor staff, and ensure excellent customer service across the branch.

Qualifications

• MLIS from an ALA-accredited program is required.
• Three years of professional public library experience required.
• Supervisory or partner-facing experience is preferred.
• Bilingual language skills are encouraged (English/Spanish commonly).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Eagle Branch.
• Supervise branch staff per library chart.
• Communicate library policies to public and staff.
• Anticipate and budget for major facility needs.
• Identify and implement outreach opportunities with community groups.
• Promote the library through community involvement.
• Prepare and submit monthly statistics and reports.
