Job summary

The Eagle Valley Library District in Colorado invites applications for an experienced Branch Manager to lead the Eagle Branch. You will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to library policies while delivering outstanding public service to residents.

Qualifications

• Master of Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited program is required.
• Three years of professional public library work experience required.
• Supervisory experience or collaboration with external partners preferred.
• Ability to mentor staff and support multiple Eagle Valley Libraries.
• Candidates with bilingual language skills are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Eagle Branch
• Supervise branch staff per library chart
• Communicate library policies to public and staff
• Anticipate and budget for major facility needs
• Identify and implement outreach opportunities with the community
• Promote the library through community groups and activities
• Prepare monthly statistics and reports for the Library Director
