Job summary

The Eagle Valley Library District in Colorado seeks an experienced branch manager to lead the Eagle branch. The ideal candidate holds an MLIS from an ALA-accredited program, with at least three years of professional public library work and supervisory or partner-collaboration experience.

Qualifications

• Master of Library and Information Science degree from an ALA-accredited institution.
• Three years of professional public library work required.
• Supervisory experience or collaboration with external partners preferred.
• Bilingual language skills encouraged; current staff is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Eagle Branch.
• Supervise branch staff per library org chart.
• Communicate library policies to public and staff.
• Budget for facility requirements and identify outreach opportunities.
• Promote the library through community groups and activities.
• Prepare monthly statistics and reports for the Library Director.
