Job summary

The Eagle Valley Library District in Colorado is seeking an experienced Branch Manager for the Eagle Valley Library in Eagle. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to excellent customer service within a growing multi-branch system.

Reporting to the Library Director, you will supervise branch staff, oversee operations, and lead outreach activities while ensuring accurate documentation and reporting. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• A MLIS degree from an ACL-accredited or ALA-accredited program is required.
• Three years of professional public library experience are required.
• Supervisory experience or collaboration with external partners is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Eagle Branch.
• Supervise branch staff per the library's organizational chart.
• Communicate library policies to the public and staff.
• Anticipate and budget for major facility requirements.
• Identify and implement outreach opportunities in the community.
• Prepare and submit monthly statistics and other reports.
