Qualifications

• A completed MLIS from an ALA-accredited institution and three years of professional public library work is required.
• Supervisory experience or experience collaborating with external partners are preferred.
• The ideal candidate will have strong management experience, be a team player who supports the Eagle Valley Libraries, have excellent documentation habits, and will mentor staff.
• Candidates with bilingual language skills are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Eagle Branch; supervise branch staff per the organizational chart.
• Communicate library policies to the public and staff; budget for major facility requirements.
• Identify outreach opportunities and promote the library through community groups.
• Prepare and submit monthly statistics and other reports as directed by the Library Director.
