SPEC Building Materials Corporation is a leading wholesale distributor of quality building materials and equipment for commercial and residential roofing contractors. The Manager in Training (MIT) program is designed to teach every segment of our business and culture so you can run a branch after training.

Based in St. Peters, MO, this full-time, in-person role offers structured training across customer service, product knowledge, inventory, logistics, and leadership, with a clear path toward

Qualifications

• BS in Marketing/Sales or Business degree required.
• Two years of industry (or related) experience in building materials.
• Strong customer service, organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and ethical.
• Legally entitled to work in the United States and able to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Learn every segment of the business through the MIT program.
• Complete training modules: Customer Service, Product Training, Inventory & Cost Control, Logistics & Warehouse, Branch Manager, Outside Sales, Leadership.
• Upon successful training, opportunity to run a SPEC branch.
