Job summary

SPEC Building Materials Corporation is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to develop future branch leaders. You’ll rotate through customer service, product training, inventory, and logistics while absorbing leadership principles and company culture.

Upon successful completion of the program, you may manage a branch. The company emphasizes service, accountability, and ethical business practices in its nationwide wholesale distribution of roofing materials.

Qualifications

• Preferably a 4-year BS in Marketing/Sales, Business Degree.
• Two years of Industry (or) Industry related experience in Building Materials.
• Two years of work experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated and enthusiastic about the business.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train as part of a Manager in Training program.
• Learn all segments of the business and culture.
• Potentially run a branch after successful training.
• Engage in Customer Service, Counter Sales, Inventory, Logistics, and Branch operations.
