Job summary

SPEC Building Materials Corporation is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to learn every segment of the business and culture. The program prepares you to potentially run a branch after training, with a focus on customer service, product knowledge, inventory control, logistics, and leadership skills.

The position is full-time and based in the United States. Salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 per year, with benefits including 401(k) matching, health and dental insurance, paid time off, and

Qualifications

• BS in Marketing/Sales, Business or related field preferred.
• Two years of industry experience in Building Materials or related field.
• Two years of general work experience.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation and strong customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured MIT program to learn every segment of the business.
• Develop skills in customer service, product training, inventory and logistics.
• Prepare to run a future SPEC Building Materials branch by completing leadership training.
