Woodforest National Bank is seeking a Branch Manager in Norfolk to lead operations and grow deposits. You will own the branch as a business, drive sales, and oversee risk and compliance while serving customers with integrity and professionalism.

You will build partnerships, mentor staff, and promote digital banking tools to deliver exceptional service and financial solutions to the local community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive banking, sales, or customer service experience and 1 year leadership experience.
• OR a bachelor’s degree and 3 years of progressive banking, sales, or customer service experience.
• OR successful completion of the Branch Manager in Training (MIT) program and a minimum of 6 months of applied MIT experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills, sales acumen, and comfort with technology-driven banking solutions.

Responsabilités

• Operate the branch as a business owner – driving performance, managing resources, and making decisions that support long-term growth and profitability.
• Lead with accountability, driving and achieving sales goals and expectations for your team and consistently measuring results.
• Lead branch operations with a strategic focus on deposit growth and wealth management referrals.
• Manage all aspects of branch operations, including compliance, security, cash handling, and expense control.
• Deliver the Woodforest Experience by ensuring every customer interaction is warm, personalized, and solution oriented.
• Champion a customer-first culture by coaching your team to identify needs and recommend banking and investment solutions that add value.
• Drive client acquisition, strengthen relationships, promote lending solutions, and refer clients to wealth management services.
