Woodforest National Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Virginia Beach area to support the Branch Manager in driving branch performance, customer relationships, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.
• OR an Associate’s degree and 2 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.
• OR a Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.
• Demonstrated leadership capability; prior supervisory or coaching experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and marketing‑oriented sales skills.
• Comfort working in a performance‑driven retail banking environment.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Branch Manager to operate the branch with an owner mindset, supporting retail growth, deposits, and customer acquisition.
• Drive sales goals through proactive customer engagements, referrals, and marketing efforts.
• Support branch operations by ensuring compliance with policies, audits, and cash controls.
