Job summary

Broadview FCU seeks a Branch Manager in the New York area to lead a retail banking team and deliver an exceptional member experience. You will coach staff, deepen member relationships, and collaborate with Commercial Lending and Business Development to grow the business.

You will oversee branch operations, staff development, compliance, and community engagement, delivering Broadview's mission with every interaction.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in Business or related field.
• Minimum of three years of Branch Management experience with proven results.
• Enthusiastic leader with a track record of success in leadership roles.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, written, and auditory communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and think strategically.
• Willingness to work out of any location as needed.
• Able to lift at least 10 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead a retail banking branch team to deliver our mission and enhance member experience.
• Coach staff on deepening member relationships, advocacy, and business development.
• Build relationships with commercial clients and partner with Commercial Lending and Business Development.
• Collaborate with other departments and CUSOs to deliver concierge member service.
• Foster employee development and succession planning through regular performance appraisals and development plans.
• Ensure ongoing staff training through observations, meetings, dashboards review, and progress tracking.
• Maintain knowledge of all Credit Union products, policies, procedures, and NCUA regulations.
• Achieve branch objectives and ensure compliance with policies and audits.
• Monitor building and grounds for a safe member and staff experience.
• Support disaster recovery tasks and testing as needed.
• Lead community presence and Broadview brand through interactions and events.
