Job summary

White Cap is hiring a Branch Manager in Connecticut to lead branch operations, manage P&L and inventory, and drive growth through strong customer relationships. You will supervise staffing, ensure process excellence, and partner with vendors to maximize profitability.

The role requires prior leadership in a wholesale distribution environment, with a focus on service, compliance, and community stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a branch or site operations with P&L responsibility.
• Proven ability to develop customer relationships and grow local market share.
• Experience in wholesale distribution and vendor collaboration preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for profit and loss and inventory/accounts receivable for assigned location(s).
• Safeguards assets with strong inventory management and controls.
• Ensures staffing levels to meet service, financial, and operational demands.
• Develops customer relationships and resolves issues with leadership support.
• Monitors local market trends and pursues growth opportunities.
• Works with vendors to maximize sales and profitability.
• Maintains policy compliance and safety standards; performs other duties.
