Job summary

The Lincoln County Public Library System seeks a Branch Library Supervisor to oversee daily operations at a branch library and lead staff. You will manage scheduling, assignment, training, and performance evaluation to ensure excellent service.

You'll develop and monitor adult and children's programs, enforce policies to optimize efficiency, handle financial records, prepare monthly statistics, and support Summer Learning initiatives while assisting patrons at the circulation desk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MLS preferred.
• 1–3 years’ library experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day branch operations and staff.
• Train, assign, schedule, and evaluate personnel.
• Develop, schedule, and monitor adult and children's programming.
• Establish policies to optimize staff efficiency.
• Balance money drawer and prepare financial reports; maintain deposit records.
• Compile monthly library statistics on use and attendance.
• Ensure facility, grounds, and equipment are maintained.
• Assist with Summer Learning Program planning and implementation.
• Assist patrons at circulation desk and provide customer services.
