Job summary

Rexel USA in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Branch Manager Trainee to join our team and help lead a high-performing branch. You will work with Branch Management to drive profitability, manage personnel, inventories, and safety — while learning the operational and financial levers of the business.

Role emphasizes leadership, customer service, and sales strategy development, with opportunities to advance within a large national distributor of electrical products and related supplies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience
• 1+ years of leadership experience
• Experience developing and implementing sales strategies
• Sales and operations experience in electrical distribution or similar B2B industry required
• Experience in building and managing teams
• Experience managing P&Ls preferred
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred
• If required to make deliveries: Must have a valid driver's license, must be at least 21 years of age, must pass MVR review, must obtain medical certificate, must not have recent at fault accidents
• High School or GED - Required
• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive profitability by utilizing company digital tools to maximize branch performance
• Provide leadership, motivation, direction, and training to branch personnel
• Ensure branch personnel have tools to achieve sales potential
• Learn to manage the branch P&L to meet or exceed sales and income targets
• Implement branch safety standards and asset controls
• Stay informed about markets, customers, and competitors
• Maintain relationships with customers and vendors and provide excellent service
• Oversee inventory control and ensure adequate stock levels
• Make deliveries to branches/customers as required
• Perform other branch functions as needed
