Job summary

VyStar Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Georgia to coach, develop, and lead branch staff to achieve growth goals while delivering exceptional member service and maintaining branch operations excellence.

The role partners with the Branch Vice President to implement branch strategies, create the annual business plan, and drive community engagement. A strong focus on training, performance management, and risk-aware operations is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer service, sales, community service, military service, or leadership role is required.
• 2 years’ experience in a lead role within a financial institution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Branch Vice President to ensure daily branch operations and profitability.
• Coach and develop staff to meet VyStar’s standards and service commitments.
• Conduct staff training, performance reviews, and succession planning.
• Lead daily team huddles and weekly sales meetings to boost product knowledge and member recommendations.
• Provide counseling to members on financial matters and relate solutions to needs.
