Job summary

Apple Bank in Bronx, NY (Westchester Square) is seeking a Universal Banker (UB) Supervisor to serve as a full-service point of contact for customers, handling transactions and providing leadership in branch operations. The role combines supervision, teller duties, and customer service with a focus on acquiring new banking relationships.

The UB Supervisor will train staff, ensure CIP/BSA compliance, and resolve issues while supporting branch management in opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years retail banking experience in Teller/ Customer Service Representative.
• 1-2 years of bank supervisory experience in either the teller unit or platform; cross training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging clients in a friendly and professional manner and resolving issues efficiently.
• Oversee branch in absence of branch management and approve or override transactions.
• Assist with training and mentoring of Tellers, Customer Service Representatives, and Universal Bankers; ensure CIP and BSA compliance.
• Identify opportunities to acquire new banking relationships and refer clients to licensed representatives.
