Apple Bank for Savings in Bronx, NY seeks a Universal Banker (UB) Supervisor to serve as a full service single point of contact for clientele, handling monetary and account transactions and leading branch staff.

This role combines supervisory leadership, customer service excellence, and sales support by acquiring new clients and offering products that add value, while ensuring compliance and operational controls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years retail banking experience in Teller/CSR roles.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience in teller or platform areas.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a friendly, professional manner.
• Oversee branch operations and lead staff in absence of management.
• Approve or override financial transactions with due diligence and risk awareness.
• train and mentor tellers and CSRs to maintain service standards.
• Identify opportunities to acquire new banking relationships and referrals.
• Ensure accurate new account records and regulatory compliance / CIP/BSA.
• Maintain branch security, vault/ATM operations, and orderly customer area.
• Communicate disclosures and FDIC protections clearly to customers.
