Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking an Associate Branch Manager III in California to lead a team of Member Service Specialists and drive exceptional service across teller and platform channels.

You will coach staff, manage schedules, implement branch strategies, ensure compliance, and build strong member relationships while supporting overall branch goals. This is a non-exempt, hourly position reporting to Branch Manager.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree preferred in business, finance or HR.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in retail or financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of exceptional member experience on all service touchpoints.
• Direct and supervise day-to-day activities of Member Service Specialists.
• Train and coach staff on operations, compliance and service standards.
• Create staff schedules aligned with member demand.
• Support Branch Manager with strategy, promotions, and service objectives.
• Handle HR processes for direct reports including performance reviews.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and security procedures.
• Travel to meetings or cover other branches as needed.
