Qualifications

• 2 years of college experience or 3 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma.
• 2 years of cash handling experience in teller role.
• Strong human relations and organization skills.
• Supervisory ability; demonstrated knowledge of policies and procedures in the financial services industry.
• Experience planning, organizing, leading and oversight of people and activities.
• Professional and effective interaction, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience applying critical thinking and emotional intelligence in diverse situations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule MSRs and ensure area is properly staffed at all times.
• Assist members as necessary, serving as an FSR or MSR and cover lunches/peak periods.
• Participate in hiring, training, coaching, supervision and performance evaluations of MSRs.
• Maintain branch cash control and perform cash counts and vault audits.
• Balance MSR cash drawers and monitor deposit errors.
• Ensure compliance with CTR and BSA requirements.
• Approve checks, provide overrides, and manage risk while meeting member needs.
• Implement policy changes and ensure MSR compliance.
• Coach MSRs in campaigns and ongoing product knowledge training.
• Delegate audits and oversee MSR back-office duties with time management.
• Participate in AML/BSA training and adhere to related policies.
• Provide managerial oversight and foster a positive work environment.
• Manage staff performance, coaching, feedback, and development.
• Consult with HR on performance and safety issues; partner on employment decisions.
• Monitor schedules and approve timesheets; manage meal/rest breaks while maintaining coverage.
• May serve on ad hoc committees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
