Qualifications

• Experience in a financial institution handling full range of new accounts, loans and operations.
• Must maintain Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration per the Safe Act and provide the MLO number as needed.
• Strong sales and service skills are required.
• Knowledge of negotiable instruments and financial industry rules and regulations; capable of handling complex transactions with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and train staff to meet branch and credit union goals.
• Oversee scheduling to ensure proper coverage at all times and manage workflows.
• Process new accounts and loans accurately, review underwriter stipulations, and fund loans.
• Assist with overrides and transaction approvals and maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
