Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus three years in a financial institution performing new accounts, loans and operations.
• Must maintain Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration under SAFE Act and provide the registration number to consumers.
• Strong sales and service skills are required.
• Knowledge of negotiable instruments and applicable financial industry rules and regulations.
• Understanding of complex accounts and loan products including IRA's, Real Estate, escheated accounts, trusts and related issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership with coaching, training, and motivation of staff.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and resolve conflicts with tact and diplomacy.
• Occasional Saturday, Sunday and evening shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Achieves sales and service goals for the branch.
• Guides, motivates, trains, and coaches branch staff.
• Assists with scheduling and audits to ensure policies are followed.
• Performs overrides and transaction authorizations as needed.
• Processes new accounts and loans accurately and completely.
• Adheres to cash, key, and dual-control policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with security and robbery procedures.
• Maintains professional member correspondence and service quality.
