Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Durham, NC seeks a branch leader to manage all aspects of the assigned branch, driving performance through coaching, business development and strong community engagement, while ensuring adherence to internal controls and risk policies.

This role leads staffing, performance reviews, scheduling, and cross‑training with IRM and Operations to promote a One Team culture, and to grow Small Business and Mass Affluent client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training or experience.
• Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience.
• One year of branch leadership or management experience.
• Strong interpersonal, sales relationship and prioritization skills.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days and NMLS background check.
• Ability to inspire, lead and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive public image in the community and align teams with Truist's values.
• Drive branch business development across Small Business and IRM partnerships.
• Grow branch revenue through Small Business and client acquisition strategies.
• Represent branch in civic and professional groups to develop new business.
• Lead and motivate branch teams to fulfill Truist's Purpose and Values.
• Collaborate with IRM and Operations to ensure compliance and training.
• Make human capital decisions including hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
